The walk through the “Jewish Quarter” of Győr on the morning of 6 July 2024 was guided by students from the János Richter Music Secondary School, not professional guides but enthusiastic about their work!
We visited places that once had played an important role in the life of the Jewish community in Győr. The walk took place with the help of the IWalk app, which needed to be downloaded in order to follow the programme properly.

It is available for download and can be found on Google Play and Apple App Store. Look for the following logo:
After downloading, the interface will show you the available countries. Select Hungary and then Győr.
Under “In the footsteps of the Jews of Győr”, you will find the walk through Győr, with a picture of the dome of the Neologue synagogue.
